Village Hall WIFI Terms and Conditions of Use
These Terms & Conditions form part of the overall LVH2000 Master Terms & Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the provisions of the Master Terms & Conditions shall prevail. This document was last updated 8 October 2025.
By accessing and using the Village Hall WIFI service (“the Service”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Fair & Lawful Use
The Service is provided for general internet browsing, email, and communication. You must not use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate purpose, including but not limited to:
- Downloading, uploading, or sharing illegal or copyrighted material (without consent).
- Accessing or distributing offensive, obscene, or abusive content.
- Engaging in hacking, spamming, or other disruptive behaviour.
2. Security & Privacy
The WIFI is an open public network; you are responsible for protecting your own device and data (e.g. by using antivirus software or VPN). We do not guarantee the security or privacy of your communications over this network.
3. Access & Availability
The Service is offered free of charge and may be withdrawn, restricted, or interrupted at any time without notice. We may limit speed, block certain sites, or disconnect users to ensure fair usage for all.
4. Liability
The Village Hall accepts no responsibility for:
- Loss of data or damage to equipment resulting from use of the Service.
- Any actions carried out over the WIFI by users.
- You are solely responsible for your online activity while connected.
5. Acceptance
By pressing “Login” or otherwise connecting to the WIFI, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
